Pennock Point

Pennock Point is one of Jupiter, Florida's oldest and most storied waterfront neighborhoods, a small peninsula on the Loxahatchee River east of Loxahatchee River Road. The site was once part of the Fort Jupiter outpost during the Second Seminole War, and today it holds 119 single-family homes built out gradually from the early 1950s through the 2010s. Pennock Point has no homeowners association, an unusual feature for a market at this price point, giving owners more latitude over their properties than nearly any other waterfront community in northern Palm Beach County.

Real Estate

Pennock Point is really two markets in one. Interior "dry lot" homes, set back from the water, start around $1 million and offer a more accessible entry point into the neighborhood. The riverfront estates are a different world entirely: waterfront lots run up to three acres with panoramic, unobstructed views across the Loxahatchee River, among the best water views anywhere in Palm Beach County, and prices reach into the $35 to $40 million range. In January 2025, Pennock Point set a Jupiter record when 5250 Pennock Point Road sold off-market for $35,000,000 to Christopher Koch, CEO of New Era Cap, the official hat maker of the NFL, NBA, and MLB. The sale, reported by The Real Deal, surpassed a $34 million record set only months earlier by a sale in Admirals Cove, cementing Pennock Point as one of the top waterfront addresses in the entire county.

Waterfront & Boating

Pennock Point sits directly on the Loxahatchee River with sweeping views toward the Jupiter Lighthouse and quick access to the Jupiter Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean. The Alternate A1A bridge over the Loxahatchee River was recently rebuilt as part of a $122 million bridge replacement project, giving boaters plenty of vertical and horizontal clearance to pass through. The Loxahatchee River itself runs a bit shallower than the Intracoastal Waterway, so boats based here tend to run somewhat smaller than what you'd see docked on the ICW elsewhere in Jupiter, but ocean access remains quick and direct.

Notable Residents

Pennock Point has become one of Jupiter's best-known addresses for professional golf. PGA Tour player Rickie Fowler owns an ultra-modern, more than 11,000-square-foot estate in the neighborhood, designed by architect Roger Janssen, which he purchased for $12.5 million in 2016. Fellow PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas has also owned a home in Pennock Point since 2016. Multiple other PGA Tour professionals have called the neighborhood home as well, drawn by the same privacy and waterfront access that defines Jupiter's golf community.

Just minutes from downtown Jupiter, Pennock Point residents are close to Harbourside Place, Jupiter's beaches, and the Jupiter Farmers Market, while still enjoying a private, established, low-density setting that feels far removed from the area's busier corridors.

Schools

Pennock Point falls within the Palm Beach County School District. Families here have access to several A-rated public schools serving the Jupiter area, including Lighthouse Elementary, Beacon Cove Intermediate, Jupiter Elementary, Jupiter Middle, Independence Middle, William T. Dwyer High School, and Jupiter High School. Popular private options nearby include The Benjamin School and The Pine School, among others.
