La Clara

La Clara is a 25-story waterfront condominium tower at 200 Arkona Court on South Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach's El Cid neighborhood. Developed by Great Gulf Group and designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, the building was completed in 2023 and holds 83 residences.

La Clara rises 25 stories along South Flagler Drive with a curved, wraparound-balcony facade facing the Intracoastal Waterway, Palm Beach Island, and the Atlantic Ocean. The building holds 83 residences, from one-bedroom homes to four-bedroom penthouses with private rooftop pools.

Amenities include a 75-foot resort-style pool, a waterfront fitness center, his and her spas with sauna and steam rooms, a private cinema, a wine room, a chef's entertaining kitchen with a private dining room, a business center, guest suites, bike storage, electric vehicle charging, and 24/7 valet and front desk service.

HOA & Fees

Based on a review of recent listings, monthly HOA fees at La Clara generally run from roughly $2,300 to $7,500, depending on residence size and line. Fees cover building management, common areas, water, sewer, trash, insurance, security, and amenity upkeep. Treat this as a general range rather than a fixed figure. I can pull the current fee for any specific residence before you make an offer.

Real Estate

La Clara holds 83 residences, from one-bedroom homes near 1,200 square feet to four-bedroom penthouses near 8,000 square feet with private rooftop pools. As of this writing, resale prices generally run from the high $2 millions for one and two-bedroom homes into the low $20 millions for penthouse residences. Floor plans include one, two, three, and four-bedroom layouts, most with private terraces and several with butler's pantries or dual primary suites. One of the building's more notable early resales came from spec real estate developer Todd Michael Glaser, who bought a penthouse residence for $18.8 million shortly after completion and listed it for $28.5 million, an example of the kind of return investors have chased at La Clara since it delivered.

Location & Schools

La Clara sits in El Cid, a historic West Palm Beach neighborhood listed on the National Register of Historic Places, known for tree-lined streets and older Mediterranean-style homes alongside newer waterfront towers. The Norton Museum of Art and Norton Gallery Park are a short walk away, and Worth Avenue's shops are a quick drive across the bridge into Palm Beach. Palm Beach International Airport is about ten minutes away, and the West Palm Beach Tri-Rail station is about five minutes away.

The building falls near Palm Beach Public School, Conniston Middle School, and Forest Hill Community High School. Always confirm current zoning and attendance boundaries directly with the school district, since they can shift from year to year.
