The name traces back to Jonathan Dickinson, a colonial-era trader shipwrecked near the Jupiter Inlet in 1696. Golf club membership at Jonathans Landing is available but not required of residents, and the community's yacht club operates as a separate membership organization from the golf club.

Jonathans Landing Golf Club operates three 18-hole championship courses across two South Florida properties under a single club membership. The Medal at Old Trail is the original 1985 Tom Fazio design and is widely regarded as the club's true championship layout. The Match at Old Trail began as a 1991 Arthur Hills course and was fully reimagined in 2021 by Gil Hanse, Jim Wagner, and Brad Faxon, earning a spot on Golf Digest's 2023 Best Transformation list. The Village, the club's third course, was rebuilt from the ground up in 2024 by architect Beau Welling and sits closer to the Atlantic in the community's gated, golf-cart-accessible core. Its signature 17th hole is reached by a short ferry ride across the Intracoastal Waterway, a detail unique to Jonathans Landing among Jupiter's golf communities.

Marina & Yacht Club

Jonathans Landing's waterfront location on the Intracoastal gives it a genuine boating identity alongside its golf. The community's marina, operated by Loggerhead Marinas, offers deep-water dockage, fuel, pump-out service, and dry-stack storage. Jonathans Landing Yacht Club, Inc. (JLYC), established in 1990, is a boating, cruising, fishing, and social membership organization operated separately from the golf club, so residents and members can join the yacht club, the golf club, or both, depending on how they plan to use the community.

Clubhouse & Amenities

Beyond golf and the marina, Jonathans Landing offers a Racquets Program with 10 Har-Tru tennis courts and 6 pickleball courts, a Wellness Center and spa with Technogym equipment and group fitness classes, multiple dining venues across its clubhouses, and a full calendar of member social events. Junior programs cover golf, tennis, and seasonal camps. Jonathans Landing has been recognized as a Platinum Club of America and a Distinguished Emerald Club of the World.

Membership

Jonathans Landing Golf Club offers a Golf membership along with Executive, Sports, Social, and family/single membership options, and residency in the community does not require club membership. Based on figures verified accurate as of July 3, 2026, the golf initiation fee is $150,000 (non-refundable at signing), with annual dues of approximately $15,940 for an individual membership and $18,753 for a family membership. Members who resign in good standing can expect a refund of approximately 80% of their equity contribution upon resale of their membership. Outside members from other clubs are generally accommodated for reciprocal play. The Executive membership tier is structured for members under 50 who want access to all three golf courses, tennis, pickleball, fitness, and the club's social calendar at a lower entry point than full Golf membership.
